i find it fascinating how easy it seems to trust in God and to live by faith when life seems to be going well; yet when life's circumstances turn for the worst, how quickly worry, anxiety and stress take over. it seems that its during these times that we truly learn to trust Him and to live by faith though.

life is interesting right now. there are so many unanswered question and yet i'm learning how to trust Him all over again. i find myself wanting to dwell on the unanswered questions and worry and stress about them, but instead i run to Him and somehow find peace in the midst of all of it. i may not know how it's all going to turn out, but i do know that however it turns out, it's all going to be okay. it's nice to not have to have it all figured out, or have all the answers. it feels good just to rest in Him.

so we went out hunting for pumpkins this weekend and went to a pumpkin patch that we have gone to in years past thinking it would be fun to pick our own pumpkins. turns out the harvest wasn't very good this year and they had like 3 pumpkins that were all smashed up so we ended up at a little farmer's market which was fun too.

i'm not sure what it is about the dinner table but that seems to be the place that ili always chooses to do her business.
